Header Blanket - Worthwhile?

Curious about this group and their thoughts around a header blanket...

Something like this: https://trackdogracing.com/heatshield.aspx

Might help keep engine bay temps down and further reduce engine fire risk (I've already replaced all of my fuel lines, rail, components, etc.), but any added security I'll take.

Unnecessary? Or Helpful?

Unnecessary IMO. The air intake is on the opposite side and probably isnt affected much by exhaust heat.

Engine fires are primarily due to old fuel lines which crack, and since you replaced yours you are covered.

Engine heat not a huge issue with these cars (NA), bigger problem on turbos and aftermarket conversions such as an LS swap. I would say the $140 is better spent on other upgrades
