Obin, another 944 movie appearance

I'm pretty sure this one isn't on your list. The movie is called Loverboy, caught a clip of it on HBO. Not sure what kind, but the movie did come out in 89 so could have been a Turbo. Didn't show much of it, but there might have been more of it in parts I didn't see. It's about an hour and 15 minutes into the movie when the main character, a Pizza Delivery Boy is telling his friend to deliver a pizza to someone or something. His friend is standing next to a 944 and appears to own it.

I noticed a 968 in the Matrix a couple of days ago. It's in the scene when Neo is going to see The Oracle. On his way there, they pass a 968 parked in the background, dark grey I believe.

ckrough, that's the movie. I don't know what it's exactly about because I only saw part, I wonder if the 944 is in more scenes.

Goku, upon closer inspection, I have to agree with you, definitely a ROW 944. That's even better!

I don't know if it was mentioned before, but in the movie The Replacement there is a silver 911 that gets a half dozen bullets shot in it. It made me cringe just seeing it.

I don't know if anyone's mentioned this, but the early-80s John Hughes film "Sixteen Candles" has a 944 in it. Molly Ringwald's big crush, Jake, drives it around. It's guards red if I recall correctly, and you see it a couple of times in the movie. And at one point the geek character (Anthony Michael Hall) gets to drive Jake's dad's Rolls Royce instead of Jake's car because he said he couldn't drive stick. Actually, I looked around for 944s after seeing the movie a year or so ago, and ended up with my 85.5.

Steve, Obin has a list of movies that Porsches have been in on his site. The one from 16 candles is on there. I think someone on this board said that the actual car used in the movie was actually an auto. Still looked really nice though.
