Help! 951 not starting
Hi!
Before writing about my problem, I want to let you know that my english is pretty bad. About a year after I ordered the 951, a problem that looked like an overboost protection began to occur. It was like hitting a bricks wall in 3rd-4th-5th gear especially at full boost but also sometimes at higher RPMS. The strange things: - Often, the car stalled when stopping at a redlight or a stop after one or more overboost protections. It was running fine at speed, but as soon as I stopped I just couldn't give any throttle because it stalled. - After stalling, I could start it back and everything was solved (it didn't stall anymore and often the overboost protection occured less easily). - The problem began to occur right after I had solved a DME relay problem (the car often stalled in any condition). Changing the fuel filter and the DME relay solved the stalling problem, but then the overboost protection problems started. I ran the car almost a year with the "what looked like an overboost problem", but about two weeks ago the car totally died! I don't know if it has anything to do with the overboosts/stalling problems. I parked it in the driveway and the car runned really fine. When trying to start it two days later, the engine cranked but the car didn't start. Here's what I checked: - I changed my DME relay again - I checked all the voltages across the pins on the DME and everything is ok - I can hear the fuel pump turning and the fuel rail working when bypassing the corresponding pins on the DME relay. - I have voltage supplied to the injectors. - I unplugged one of the injectors to test the FPR and the car didn't start What do I need to check next, considering the provided details? Thanks alot, and sorry again for my bad english. CyaO, Yan |

Ho and one more detail: even if I hear the fuel pump turning when bypassing the DME pins, I don't hear it pressurize the system when turning the ignition on for the first second!
