PLEASE READ - REGARDING THIS BBS AND WEBSITE

Hi there everyone. As you already may know, Pelican Parts has been in business and growing for the past three years. We have been self-financed up until this point.

Now we are beginning to look for outside venture capital so that we can expand our business model and this wonderful website. I'm working on a company profile right now, and I would like to solicit user 'testimonials' as to the usefulness of this BBS and this website.

If you like the website & BBS, your comments and feedback would be much appreciated by replying to this BBS topic.

Many thanks in advance!!!

-Wayne & Tom

This BBS has been very helpful to me. The contributors are knowledgeable and friendly as well as entertaining. I read it every day for my own general knowledge about the 944.

This website is great. It is probably the 2nd or 3rd thing that I go to after checking email or business emails. I check it several times during the day too. I re-timed my sunroof the other day from a great tech article that someone told me about, from the BBS, and it worked like a champ.

Thank you and keep up the great work.
Bret

This BBS is great, very informative, etc.

However the best part of it is the people here, they often check back, reply without taking weeks, and post in a respectful, mature manner.

I agree with everyone, keep up the good work.

This website is great! Lots of knowledge when you combine everyone on it. Also, the parts diagrams are excellent...can't forget the classifieds too! Good Luck!

This site is very helpful and user friendly.
I've owned a 944 for a bit more than 2-years and the threads here have saved me lots of time and money in repairs. Thanks and keep it going.

I check this BBS a couple of times a day. People ask questions freely and generally receive a helpful answers. Most of the members are knowledgeable, friendly, and mature. I've found a few other automotive BBS's on the web, but this one is BY FAR the best!

This is the best BBS on the net! Keep up the good work! http://www.pelicanparts.com/ultimate/smile.gif

Great site, great message boards.

The information on this BBS is just as valuable, if not more valuable... than the info in any Porsche manual I own (and i own them all)

Through their use of a community-driven discussion board and beautifully written website Pelicanparts.com has won first preference for all of my Porsche related shopping. In every instance that I have needed a part the staff at Pelicanparts.com has continually provided me with excellent responsiveness and service that is above and beyond brick and morter, let alone web, standards. I commend Pelicanparts.com on their business and will continue to be a loyal customer. Thanks again.

The Pelican Parts BBS is outstanding. It is an invaluable resource for me and my fellow waterboys. I can get advice on a problem from people who have experienced that problem. On cars this rare, I cannot trust information from my local NAPA or Pepboys. Having this BBS allows me to fix things fast and efficiently. As a side benefit, having the ability to chat with other Porsche ethusiasts is a great asset and is very satisfying.

Thanks Pelican

The BBS is nice. But what I really love about Pelican Parts is the good prices on parts. I got a great deal on a complete clutch kit. Also, the fact that they sell parts AND have a BBS AND classifieds AND parts diagrams...

this board is very informative and helpful.

I live off this board. If it weren't for it, my 944 would have been parked long ago. I don't think that I have not ever gotten the info that I needed.

It's great!

I really enjoy the web site. The technical articles are excellent. The parts diagrams are good, showing how everything comes apart and goes together. The BBS is my favorite. There are ignorant people, as myself, and knowledgeable ones sharing answers. One of the best things about it is that you can read about something and its solution before it happens to you.

This website is excellent! The wealth of knowledge this site provides is probably the most valuable tool any of it's users could obtain. Hats off to the designers and users of this website. Keep up the great work.

This website is the first place I go for parts. And to find out what parts I need, I always access the BBS for trouble shooting and knowledge.

Keep up the great work and good luck with getting some venture capital (I know how hard that is, no matter how well the business plan looks on paper http://www.pelicanparts.com/ultimate/smile.gif )

I can't think of anything else to add, except thanks to you for hosting it, and thanks to everyone posting here for making it a sucess. You can ask the most absurd question about these cars, and someone knows the answer. If not, as a group, we'll figure it out!
