Instruments don't work

Went out driving just now and none of the guages (speedometer, tachometer, oil pressure, fuel, mpg, temp) are working, everything is on zero. Yestarday morning the same thing happened, but they came back to life after I revved the engine a bit. They were fine just a few hours ago. Oh well, I'll be trying to take apart the cluster tommorow and figure out what's wrong with it. Any thoughts?

edit: I hope its just a fuse. That will be the first thing I check. Or maybe grounds.

I would bet on a blown fuse.

you are now qualified for visual flight rules.

Check fuse, also check wiring and grounds behind the cluster.

When mine behaved that way, it was the grounds. Hope its just a fuse. If not, prepare for a long journey.

Thanks guys. The fuse seems alright. Now I'll check the grounds. I'm fairly sure the grounds back there are the culprit. For quite some time now the fuel guage has been innaccurate (goes up and down, sometimes almost by 1/2 tank while driving) so this seems to make sense.
