I went to the porsche dealer today
I saw them unloading off the truck!!! Talk about cool! The only parts not covered with white plastic was the windshield when they drove in
Looked like packing tape covering the wheels, but I didn't get a real good look. Saw lots and lots of new 996s my favorite was a silver cab Anyway... Lots of Cayennes, and I even saw one get sold!
(I also stole its parking spot)

I've seen 3 on the road now, and a few at the dealership. I don't think they could figure out why I was roaming around the Porsche section. The sales people kept trying to get me to go back and look at the trade-in's section (mostly hondas).
I sat in one (not at the dealership) it was so comfortable, the interior is awesome.

I think they look pretty good in person.

My next door neighbor has one, the S version. He also has a boxster S, two mercedes SUV's in the AMG version and a landcruiser. What can ya do? He likes my little 944, said he had one when he was starting out.

Neighbor across the street got one about 2 months ago, I see it on display in his driveway all the time. It really does look nice in person. White/tan Cayenne turbo. The wheels still look kinda small, but otherwise the vehicle is pretty nice.

VW version is called the Toureg. It's practically a clone of the Porsche and just as ugly. Top speed is about 150, it lowers itself at speed, etc. and costs a lot less than the Cayenne. Imo, both fell out of the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down.

So many people have it in my city its unbelievable. And on sunset blvd on friday and sat nights....thats when all the big ballers come out. Personally, when I saw it at the LA Auto Show, it looked OK. When I look at the huge poster I have of it in my room, it looks OK. But for some reason, while on the road, the thing is quite beautiful. But then again, I find the M coupe quite beautiful too (the clown shoe).

Last night on the way back from Roscoes chicken and waffles, we paced a Cayenne up the hill to our city in my buddies Explorer. If only we were in an X5, then it could be a luxury SUV battle.
