Any Interest? 4 7x16 early offset dials

Perfect for '86 and earlier 944's with 23mm offset. Straight and true. Excellent condition save for a a scratch on one wheel and a relatively minor curb scuff on another. Any reasonable offers out there? Preference given to buyers who can pickup in SoCal. Tires worthless. Sorry no digital camera to take post pics. post reply or send email to glee911@yahoo.com.

Yes, but unless you're going to get the tires taken off, shipping to here would cost too much...

Hemmm

Depends on condition... I have seen as little as 200 but expect 300-400. Depends on if they have rubber.

If you are not sure what you want, try just a search using porsche wheels, its amazing some of the deals, of course you compete with others.

On the shipping sometimes the rape you... but average cost of shipping through ups say a 20x20 x 20 box at 40lbs per box is about 35.00 for ground that size box give or take a little can fit two rims in it, maybe a little bigger depending on rubber, but bare rims, you can easy fit two in a box.

Should always check the shipping before bidding, their are a lot of none 944 rims that will work with spacers... thats an option.

You should check on the fit and adaptability before going crazy with the size, their are plenty of large rims, but fitting a 17x10 rim on your car isnt a cake walk.

Anyways thats my two cents...

I debating...
would love to go to 16" PD...
What size/type/condition tires are on them?
would love more to have a 8" or 9" wide wheel on the back, want to do 225 front, 245 or more on the back.

condition is described above. basically, very nice except scratch on one and slight curb scuff on another. scottmandue, why would you put such big tires on a normally aspirated car. the car will feel very sluggish and understeer badly. I guess it would look nice though.

oops, stupid me didn't read the question. on the tires, d40m2 rear 60%+ life remaining on rear, front is no name tire but plenty of tread remaining.

Your right... I should get a 951 and cram those big tires on it.
But seriously, I have 15" Cookie's with 215 front 225 back and depending on my driving technique I can get understeer/oversteer/drift... therefor I want more stickydown i.e. more rubber on the road. The fact that it would look really cool doesn't hurt also.

I should have read you first post more closely, I'm not interseted in the tires. I'm no tire technician so I don't know for sure if your 16" PD's with 225/40 tires would give me the grip I want.
