My car is in very very good condision since i painted it put some sheepskins on and detailed my engine. My dash cover and statesman mats are coming very soon....All i will need to do is purchese a euro rear valance and get my damn hit and run dent fixed...Oh i will probably just polish my Phonedials

Forget about the "euro" rear valance. IMOP, it looks like a poor ad on and is obviously a not a porsche part...

let us know how the turbo hunt go's

Goku, you've been peddlin that damn thing on here for awhile now. Sell it or keep it! If it was really that good, or if you were asking the right price, it'd be gone by now

IMO, I don't like adding anything to cars cosmetically. It takes away from the originality of it. I absolutely hate those Porsche reflector lenses that people put on the back of 944's where the license plate should be. It looks cheesey and gives the impression that one has show off that its a Porsche. Just my 2 cents.

i see there is going to be a little war. my 84 944 is yellow, not a factory color, has a yellow grant steering wheel not a factory option a yellow porsche banner across the top of the windshield, not a porsche option a aiwa cd player, not the factory radio and a porsche rear light plate, not a factory option here in the u.s. i bought and plan to install before i get the car repainted, yellow, the rear euro valance. is my car a porsche, yes. i just customized it to my prefrence. Raf, knock yourself out doing what you want to your car and the rear valance does look great and not like a cheesy option. my $.99

Setting aside the styling issues, it seems that if your goal is to sell the car, why put more effort into it. Lets be open about it, the rear valance will not increase the value of the car that much. Remember, in some cases, customised cars are worth less. Put the time into fixing the dent, clean up or polish the wheels and let it go. This way, you can save more $$$'s for the turbo.

As for "asidrave" yellow car, I think its cool... the car has a theme and he is not trying to represent something its not...

Yep, hard to imagine that it's a true porsche design part. The turbo/S2 part looks much better

I don't think it looks so bad! The turbo under spoiler is better, but the european valace isn't bad at all, on a 924 it makes the thing look even taller, but on a 944 not too bad. That's not to say I'd do it to my car, but you know what I mean.

What I don't like is how the center-piece on mideast's car being painted black, with raised "P O R C H S E" sticking out... Maybe a straight piece, without the letters, painted black would look fine. On a black car anyway...

RaF944, don't worry about what I or others say, do what YOU want, it's YOUR car!

In an earlier message someone said that "All 944's in Europe" have this rear valance. WRONG. Hardly any UK cars have them, most go for the Turbo Valance. It is a Porsche part by the way, I have one, which has PORSCHE moulded inside it, with a 944xxxxxxx part number. I'l never fit it though, how ugly?????
