time for a new headlamp motor relay?

I've cleaned off my headlamp motor relay multiple times with alcohol and swabs but it seems like it'll work for a while, then the "up and down" and the "headlights staying partially up when the switch is off" keep coming back. Anyone have any ideas as to what else I can use/do to make this problem go away for good? Also, the relay was VERY warm (almost hot) to touch when I pulled it this last time even though the car/lights had been off for a whole day. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Matt

When was the last time you changed your timing and balance belts and/or cam chain and tensioner?

Have had similar problem. Bent the male relay earth pin in slightly to make better contact with female plug and walla it has given no more problems.
