Post alignment suggestions.

Spring is finnaly hear in the cold north, and with it comes the first races of the season.

I'm about to have my summer tires put back on and with that i'm planning on a 4 wheel alignment.

Any suggestions on alignment setting for improvement in autocrossing. I have an '87 944 NA, that is completely stock. I will be competing the C- Stock bracket.

Unfortunalty this is my daily driver and i take several 100+ trips every month. So nothing that greatly accelerates tire wear.

Any help would be appreciated

anything fun will accelerate tire wear.
I run stock alignmnet with the exception of -1.25 dgree camber up front and -1.5 dgree camber in rear on an 86 951.
You'll buy tires every year...
However, I would run less negative camber in rear unless you have limited slip (guess how I know?).

I think 1.25 negative all around is a good setting, for a non lsd late 944.

I'm very interested in on what other people do with their 944s for auto-xing, so keep in touch! And good luck.

Why the big difference between LSD and non LSD diffs in camber set ups.

i have a lsd, but i didnt want to go with more than one degree of negitive camber.

Well, the LSD can put the power down more effectively then an open diff. So you can give up a little bit of traction in the back for accelerating, to be used for cornering. I think that's a simple way of putting it.
