Clutch master cylinder
I'm going through clutch master cylinders like crazy, have to change them every 10-15,000 miles, I am buying good factory ones not rebuilt. they are leaking into the car . The slave cylinder was replaced a while back also.
Any ideas?? |

What type of fluid are you using? The only other thoughts are:
Improper adjustment on the push rod. Push rod too long (bottoming out piston, damaging seals). Something misaligned in pedal/mc system where the rod is pushing on the piston at an angle, side loading it wearing the seals faster. If all else fails, try another manufacturer. I don't suppose you are from Chicago, now living in IN?? Jay

Problem with a lot of the master and slave cylinders is that they are "New Old Stock" (NOS) They are unused, but still 10 - 17 years old.
You may have better luck rebuilding one of your new ones. AFJuvat
