I was just looking over my option codes for my totaled porsche 944 and I noticed one thing that jumped out at me for the first time, Option code 715, hmmmm! It says that option code 715 is, "Control PV-U Production Pilot Run (944)" What does this mean? my car was a special pilot for the '85 944's? Maybe that would mean I could convince the insurance company to give me even more $$$...

More than likely it is a option that is being producton tested. Your car is an 85 and that year has the 85.5 as you may know. Well prior to the change, parts could have been run in a small numbers designed for the 85.5 then placed on the early 85 for testing in the real world. The PV-U is probably the part and they tag it with an option to show the change or addition to, in that part.,,,,So NO you won't get RICH!!! lol Sman
