Looking forward to my next Dental appointment... (not OT)
My aunt is a dentist's assistant, and one of the partners that she works under owned a 930 for many, many years. Well, he is going through a nasty divorce right now, and the wife made him sell his pride and joy.
So what does he do once all the paperwork is filed and all the red tape is cut? He goes out and buys a 996 Twin Turbo! Upon pulling up to the office for the first time, my aunt tells him that her nephew would love a ride in this thing. She tells him as much about my 944 as she knows (not much... I don't think she's really a car person). His response? Next time he comes in for an appointment, I'll give him the keys for awhile.  I don't know... I think my teeth are in need of cleaning, how bout you?!?

$50 bucks to drive a 996T alone....
Thats even worth the discomfort of the cleaning!

Awesome!
I had a similar situation earlier this spring with a '96 993 Cab. Found out that the more inquizitive & excited you are, the more they'll be liberal about throwing the keys at you. Go ahead in there and do the same; some folks are just cool like that. |
