(Urgent) NEED YOUR HELP!!!
This is in order to raise the money that I get from my insurance company for my car, They have offered me $4,675, but they keep the car. So the idea is tell them examples of how much other cars sold for that are close to like mine. Here are the specs on mine...
Early '85 porsche 944 168,000 miles Koni yellows all around flawless leather interior w/ sport leather seats paint about an 8/10 timing belt, waterpump, etc. done soon new head gasket new clutch 16" fuchs lots of service records new brakes/rotors all around less than 1k miles everything electrical works totally detailed to perfection by me rebuilt ps pump spare etc. all manuals thats about it, so if you don't mid i would like to know of specific cars that are like mine and how much they sold for, and I would need a couple of specs on each one... this will help me get back into the nicest 944 I can, thank you ahead of time!

Did they offer you a buy back on the car?
Usually the owner gets first rights to the car after it has been claimed. Use part of the money, buy the car back, and parts it out (engine, front end, etc) and that should give you green for a great 944. You may be hard pressed to geo more than $4675 from them - that's good money for a early '85 with 168,000. I *may* be interested in selling my 944. The only reason I mention it is you are a forum member, and I have done a TON of work to it and want it to go to a GOOD home. I have all records, paint/windshield/re-vinyl'd dash just 500 miles ago! Also new T-belt, oil cooler, upgraded clutch, etc... etc... Pic's here... http://users.adelphia.net/~brian1171/944.html You could get into it for less than than your buy out... I am CERTAIN you will NOT find a nicer '85 anywhere for reasonable money...
