Question High beams not working properly...

Ok here's the scoop...
The left turn signal wasn't turning off (after turning the corner), the cruise wasn't working and the high beams weren't working. So what do the have in common? The stick ,right? Well close.
I just replaced the turn signal stick. Now the turn signal shuts off properly AND the cruise works again. But, the high beams still are acting wierd. Here's what they are doing:
Pull the stick back. As it pulls back, the high beams come on, and when it clicks, they go off.
Pull the stick back again, until it clicks, and the low beams return.
If you pull the stick back about half-way, the highs come on, and the little blue dash light comes on.
Pull it till it clicks, gone...

Suggestions?

Tim, I just replaced my too, on the left side of the column- there's a white plastic thing, that has the fit in the stick ather wise when you flick the stick it doesn't move that plastic piece and the high beams won't work correctly.
