Hey! I think im just going to have a shop look at the Porsche. Which shops should i go to? Is there any shops i should avoid? I was thinking about going to Procare, does anybody know if this is good?

Umm.... it would be helpful to know where you are before we could recommend a shop

I live in Cincinnati Ohio. Should i ask the guy at procare if hes had porsche experience? If he screws up my car is he liable for the crap he did?

With an attitude like that, the tech is probably not going to work on your car. If you need professional help with your 944, visit the shop and discuss the items you ned fixed and work out a repair strategy. The shop will want to inspect your car first (or should do) and detail the faults that need repair. Once you have a estimate (and that is only a guide price) arrange to have the work done. If you want to be regular customer (read; more than a one-time deal) you have to work with the shop. We expect customers to work with us, regular home maintenance coupled with the shop doing repairs that the owner is not prepared to do. These cars are not cheap to maintain so don't expect the shop to work for nothing.
