The factory antitheft system in my 87 944NA has decided to cripple the car. How do I permanently disable this system? It never had any problems until the other day in a hard rain it "went off" while I was driving, horn, etc... and now it wont start. I do not have the keys to fit the alarm lock, so I pulled the panel off the inside and jumped the switch to fool it. it worked to get me home but it happened again and now that does not work. I can hear what sounds like a turn signal relay under the pass side dash that ticks for about 30 secs when I try to start it. How does the system disable the car? how can I bypass it? HELP!
Thanks Brian |

check in your battery compartement.. there might be a wire there with a fuse in the middle of it.. pull the fuse.
if not, i think the relay is behind the stereo. SHAUN |
