Suspension Questions

I've been doing some suspension work lately, and I have a few questions for all you leaf and spring guys out there.
So far, I've upgraded my rear shocks to koni yellows and I have a pair of yellow inserts for the front sitting on my bench along with a pair of 220 lb springs, which will be installed this weekend. I'm running Yokohama AVS-ES100 215/60's and all my front end bushings are new. Everything else on my 85/1 NA is stock and very worn.
I'm wondering what else I should do with the suspension to bring it up to speed in the way of torsion bars, sway bars, etc. I'm looking for overall balance for daily driving, the weekend run up Colorado 14, and maybe even some racing if I can find some here.

When I replaced my rear shocks a few weekends ago, the ones I pulled out said MIDAS on them. The horror...the horror....

Thanks in advance,

Tom

When was the last time you changed your timing and balance belts and/or cam chain and tensioner?

Maintenance is improvement. Know what I mean.

Could get heavier sway bars front and back. Reduce the castor angle.

Odd size tires front and rear are not good as this will cause the back to stay stuck and the front to go straight. Hard to set up for corners.

968 M030 sway bars front and rear
try a 27mm Torsion bars, with 220lb springs that should be enough.

maybe i just need some more seat time cause i haven't been autocrossing long but i prefer staggered tire widths cause I want to purposefully induce some understeer. i find that the car's balance is extremely neutral but since i am a amateur racer, i could use a "safety" margin

actually what i am realizing what i would love is an LSD. car rotates a little too much for my taste when powering out of a slow corner. (especially on wet conditions)

I recently took the Hoosiers mounted on 17" Fikse's from my 911 and used them for a DE on my early '85 944. 225/245 setup. The car was not nearly as fun to drive as when I run 225's all the way around. I want the tail to drift out a bit, and this was difficult to achieve with the wider rubber in back.

On the plus side, the car just about doubles in value with the Fikse's on it!
