Flywheel timing reference set screw

Is Top Dead Center referenced by the DME from the leading edge or trailing edge of the signal from the flywheel reference sensor & set screw?

Good question. I would venture that the peak threshold voltage would trigger the circuit. So this would depend on how close the inductance sensor is to the pin and how fast the pin is traveling.

Don't think this is as critical as you may think it is as long as the circuit fires. From the DME testing plan I would guess that 2.0 volts is the trigger. Then it just may be the clean spike.

My wife happened to be walking past the screen as I was viewing this. She says:

"Oh it all happens so goddam fast I doubt the lil' box notices anyhow"'

Ya gotta love the logic. :)
