interference valve timing vs piston position

does any one know the exact timing, relative to the position of the piston, that the intake and exhaust valve is fully opened?
on an interference engine the exhaust valve must begin closing before the piston has reached the top of its stroke right?
or are the intake valves the only valves in danger of not clearing the piston?
i dont know the terminlogy but does anyone know the maximum distance each valve is lifted and for how long? (lift and duration i think)

The exhaust are usually the first to get smoked (95% of the time).... as you have eluded to.

If the belt snaps while you are running at high rpm you may as well say good bye to all of them....

at the top of the exhaust stroke is the valve closing or completely closed?

Timing with 1mm lift and zero valve clearance is:

intake opens 1º after TDC,and closes 49º after BDC;Exhaust opens 43º before BDC and closes 3º before TDC.

(in the 2.5 liter)

A .rar file is a compressed type of archive, just like Winzip,i think it´s a better one.You need to open it with a program called Winrar, wich you can extract .rar and .zip files too. I can send you the three parts in a zip,but at this point is better for you to download winrar and extract the ones you have. Here is a link:

http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm

You can use it exactly like winzip.

I´ll sent you the third part,if you have any problems just let me know.
