stuck sparkplug fixed
I was sitting around reading my Excellence magazine then I got a urge to tackle my stuck sparkplug. This plug has been stuck for 5 years now. i was always scared to try to hard to remove it in fear of stripping out the head. It didn't missfire at all so I left it alone. Alone until tonight. I armed myself with a can of WD-40 and a long ratchet. I soaked the spark plug and started to work the spark plug out. I thought for surre it was going to strip out. It was turning way to hard. Finally it came out. Huray!!! I looked at the threads and they are all buggered up with what looks like Aluminum anti-seize. The stuff is as hard as a rock. Long story short, I replaced the sparks with new ones and used copper anti-seize. The car runs like a dream.

Man......congrats!
That would have killed my like having a bad tooth for all that time or something.. I had the same problem, sort of, with number 2 cylinder when I first got the car. It really felt as if I was going to strip it upon removal, not to mention the only socket I could get to fit in there was from the factory tool kit. Long story short.. Belts blew valves bent Machine shop fixed the plug problem for good. Way to get up that courage!!!!

I was using a 16" long torque wrench. I bet I could of set it at 60ft lbs and the thing would of clicked. I am so glad its over. You were right about it being like a bad tooth. You know its going to hurt when you pull it but for some reason you prolong it.

Heh now you should come up here and get the one out of my subaru! it's cross threaded, so good luck. =P
Nice work, I wasn't aware you could put copper anti-sieze on the threads. Mine look like they have either wd-40 or perhaps a very thin engine oil on the threads. It's black as hell, but they come out pretty easy.
