Thumbs up

I like mine, but I am probably in the minority. Of course, no hp gains should be expected. Driving under 2000 rpm in 1st gear in heavy traffic and parking lots takes some coordination to keep the car from surging back and forth. But I like tapping the throttle and instant response as oppossed to giving it half or 2/3 throttle for the same response. This is especially true in 5th gear. They are only $30 so if you don't like it, no huge loss. Or you can cut off the arm of your stock throttle cam and get the same effect.

I just put one on my 85.5 944NA recently, it helped pedal response greatly. I did have to back off my cable tension after the install, as the new disc put more tension on the cable and bumped my idle to 1100 rpm. It was no big deal.

The difference is noticable, the car responds better taking off from a dead stop, there is no "vague" pedal feel the first 1/2" or so of pedal travel anymore. The difference is also somewhat noticable on the highway in 5th gear around 60mph, step on the gas a little and the car responds faster. I haven't noticed any drivability loss as some have mentioned. But I kept my stock one just in case.......
