Headlight problem - 1983 944
Low beam on left side does not work. I have swapped all 4 fuses
and replaced headlight. Anybody got any ideas on where I can look now? Do the wires go to each side(driver and passenger) independently of each other? Thanks for any suggestions. |

Check out the grounds behind the headlight bucket- it's a bundle of brown wires with terminal lugs - clean them off and see if it gets better..

Did you check the bulb (or sealed beam). The first thing to do is check for 12v and ground at the headlamp. It may be the bulb or a brokem wire in the harness right by the headlamp.

I put new 'Sealed beam' in and had the same problem, I switched Left side with Right side. There are 3 wires going into bulb - on bight, I get voltage on Low Beam, I get no Voltage. Do I trace wire to other side or does wire to the fuse box?
