Hey all
Today I tried to go through CO emmissions with the 951 I bought from Scott R a couple months ago Unfortunately I failed! They said I am getting too much fuel. So I went to a shop today and he told me to get an oil change and put the stock chips (Huntley Racing chips in now) back into the car. That way if I fail again at least I have a baseline to work off of. My Question is....I have the stock chips...but how to a know which one goes where (DME and KLR)? One has PN 1267355138 and the other says 1267355235 PLEASE HELP!!!!

Sorry, Will I am traveling but here is the answer, first off you may be able to just lean the AFM back 2 clicks to lean it out enough to pass.
Second the stock chips have a part number on each, and the KLR is the smaller of the two chips, and only fits in one socket. Same with the DME, it will only fit in one socket, and only one direction. Changing the oil is always good, but may not do much with the added fuel from the HR chips. Hey, at least the re-test is free right? Anyway if you can please post the numbers, I'll check back.

Thanks for the reply Scott....didn't know you were still around the 944 board! Hope you had a great holiday season by the way!
Both chips are the same size and have the same number of pins and have a little notch out of one end. Do you mean the KLR has the smaller Part Number? Also, how am I going to know which is which when I open the box up. Are they marked DME chip and KLR chip?? Thanks

No sorry your right the sizes are the same on either chip. I can't track down the correct part numbers, I'm trying.
Anyway once you have the DME and KLR open the chips are labled by Huntley, so you won't get lost there. You almost need a picture of the inside of a turbo dme to get the chip number. Or hope someone here knows. I can't believe I forgot to lable those, DOH!
