Exclamation Please help with A/C problem

1987 944na

Can you tell me the proper high-side and low-side pressure for the A/C system and the associated RPM.

Some guy at Vertex told me that the high-side pressure with a warm engine at 3000RPM is 280psi. That sounds higher than other cars. Is this figure correct.

Also, just to make sure, the high side line is the smaller diameter one that has the valve on the top side of the engine near the brake master cylinder. And the low side is the valve right next to the compressor and is on the larger diameter hose.

Thanks!

Do a topic search, someone posted the exact pressures about a month ago.
