Wanted to get an idea of how everyone deals with the rear wiper.
I feel it detracts from the streamlined look. When I drive in the rain, I never think to use it anyway. Rainex is a better alternative. I moved the wiper to the down position, parallel to the spoiler, and unplugged the wires. I don't want to accidently operate it, especially when it's dry. btw: the dc in the title stands for don't care, maybe you never gave it any thought, or not worth the time (perfectly legit) BOB in NJ 86 944na red/ltgrey |

I never had one on my car, but I have got that silver disk where I guess the wiper is suppose to go. Not sure if the previous owner had it taken out or if it was always like that. Also, I've never had problems seeing out the back in the rain and I don't even use rain-x.

Never had one on mine - don't really see the need to have one either - I use Rain-X.
If yo can get the plug, the wiper isn't too hard to take off. AFJuvat |
