I disassembled my dead odometer and found a gear inside was broken, anyone have the gear inside the odometer for sale, please contact me at 9303 6763.

ok this comes up all the time.. anyone have a good gear I can make a mold out of ? anyone know if it's the same dam gear that goes out on 928's ? If I can get a hold of a good one I can have a mold made and produce the parts

i do not have the part that you need, i am just looking for som help myself. to remove the odometer, did you have to take off the entire dash or does it slide out somehow individually? thanks! |

It is very sample to remove the odometer from the speedometer. Just like the steps mentioned in the Excellence Mag. (Sept issue)
Nothing slide out when the guages cluster being opened. To remove the odometer, the first thing to do is to remove the needle and then the speedo face. |
