rear fog light?
Got another question, how do I get a rear fog light for my 944? I modified the rear light clusters of my old VW Scirocco so they would work like the European cars do and added a Euro fog switch, is there a similar switch available for the 944? Believe it or not sometimes I do have to drive in semi-serious fog.
thanks, nate |

My car is euro stock,so it has two fog switches, one for the front ones and another for the rear ones.So at the worse case, you could order it to a euro shop.Dont know if the conversion is troublesome.

I would think the same thing. They were made for European cars, so you should be able to find oneavailable.

The empty bulb holder in the tailinght assembly is made for the read fog, I believe...all you need in the back is the plastic bulb holder...mine are wired in as an extra set of tailinght (on all the time the lights are on) - I had to decrease wattage on the bulbd, as that lens allows a lot of light through

Yeap. Empty socket. Even an extra wire in the loom for it. Just have to find it's other end under the dash.

I have been planning to install one in mine this spring ...I have additional sockets and will add a switch probably in the console near the mirror switch over, but I just got some of these hyper LEDs (ebay) that I think will work nicely without having to use any sockets at all
I plan to wire it with it's own fuse and a seperate harness that I will fabricate.
