I don't remember the size, but the 951 injectors will not work in a 944. The impendence of the 951 an unusual and unique to car/dme. I tried a set and found that my car would not start but only turn over. So I ended up with additional injectors.

Thanks Man:

That is for the 944 Turbo. I found it in another reference material section.
83-84 944 are 22.9 lbs/hr at 36.25 psi according to the reference material I have.

According to my reference material the NA's are low impedance injectors. So if yours would not run turbos must have high impedance injectors.

I got to thinking about this further. The reason they MAY NOT have worked (951 injectors in 944)is the 944's are peak and hold type injectors and the 951 MAY BE saturated type injectors. It has to do with the driver inside the ECU the controls the amount of current that the injectors sees. The difference being P&H peaks 4 amps of current and holds injectors open with about 1 to 1.5 amps , where as the Sat. ones require 4amps to open and 4 amps to hold open.
