Seen a 944 last year on eBay that had wide fenders. Don't know who made them. So they have to be out there.

When was the last time you changed your timing and balance belts and/or cam chain and tensioner?

Front fenders, bumpers and such would be bolt-on. The rear fenders, however would require a little more work, probably best left to a body shop. All fiberglass parts and panels usually require a little finish work as well to achieve a nice fit.

Yea I think it would look a little strange.
If it was just the back it might look ok.

On a 944 it might look weird period.

I have thought about adding a "little extra" though to the front and rear arches and lines with either metal or bodyfiller before I paint it.....

Not enough to create a drastic change, just a bit more of a good thing.

The 924 however is another story. There are several widebody kits that turn it into a 944 or more.

Maybe an early 924 is really the car you are looking for. Cheap, engine is a tosser, body probably needs paint and many kits mod.

Check out the 924org site for all the racing/mod info
