Post What are your results after modding your 944's?

I'm sure this topic has come up before, but I haven't been able to find it, and I'm new.
I've noticed 944's 0-60 times range anywhere from 8.3s to 9.0.
I was told its too much effort to install a turbo, so if you guys could please post your 0-60/ quarter mile times after modifications it would be helpful(and cost involved too).

Thanks.

There was a kid here a few weeks ago named Craig. He had a bursch exhaust (I believe), better ignition wires, and some other little stuff, like special paint that made his car 100lbs lighter (or so he said). He was claiming to get something like 6.8 0-60. As has been mentioned before, weight reduction is a big factor. There are not many options in terms of bolt on power. If you REALLY want a 0-60 car or 1/4 mile car then you need a turbo, or to do the Chevy converstion. They can get you a lot of HP. There is a guy named PCM something or other who seems to hang out on the 951 board. He is building a turbo charged car from an NA. He might be able to give you a little more input there. He is quite adamant that this is a good way to go.
