Hey FR

No real specification is given in the books. To try to extrapolate a number, I took the rating for the NA 2.5 and compared it to the rating for the turbo and the S\ S2 motor.

NA: 87
Turbo: 91
S\S2: 90

I would venture to guess that a 2.7 would be somewhere between 89 and 91 (RON+MOn\2)

Hey there Wilk,
My car is in my garage which is, strangely enough, in another town. However, I'm working on it this afternoon (gotta install that new compressor and it's a balmy temp for feb in MA!) and I'll make a note of it while I'm there.

hey Wilk,
So the gas door says (RON + MON)/2 = 91
and the manual states that the car requires a minimum octane of 95RON, or 90CLC.
Hope that helps!
