No real specification is given in the books. To try to extrapolate a number, I took the rating for the NA 2.5 and compared it to the rating for the turbo and the S\ S2 motor. NA: 87 Turbo: 91 S\S2: 90 I would venture to guess that a 2.7 would be somewhere between 89 and 91 (RON+MOn\2) AFJuvat

Hey there Wilk,
My car is in my garage which is, strangely enough, in another town. However, I'm working on it this afternoon (gotta install that new compressor and it's a balmy temp for feb in MA!) and I'll make a note of it while I'm there.

hey Wilk,
So the gas door says (RON + MON)/2 = 91 and the manual states that the car requires a minimum octane of 95RON, or 90CLC. Hope that helps!

how is the n/a 87 octane...my owners manual says 91

91ron I think is 87... I run The best stuff 93 in my NA, I noticed it runs cleaner, and smotther
