problem with putting engine in

i am having trouble putting the engine in the drive shaft keeps getting in the way is there any way i can move it a little

THe transmission should be out already.

If it is, rotate the torque tube (drive shaft) 180 degrees and push it back further.

You may want to get a manual. The Haynes manuals are pretty cheap and easy to follow. It will save you some time and trouble.

When putting an engine in from the top (or bottom) you have to use a hanger that lets you angle the engine. Up or down in front depending.

If you are putting it in from the top then the front of the engine has to be a bit up and angled to one side. The cross member has to be dropped off of the chassis. You can leave the struts connected at the top but the rear a-arm bushing and the sway bar hangers have to be disconnected.

It's advised to remove the fans from the radiator and possibly the power steering pulley from the crank.
