Identify these headers...
Posting for 924SMAN.
Has a question as to who made these headers. Don't look at the flowers. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1078598564.jpg |

Patchwork Products?

Gesh!
Told you NOT to look at the flowers! Rennlisters think these are Bursch 4-2-1's. |
I would go with the rennlist guys, They do look alot like mine and mine are bursch too
|
They don't look like 4-2-1 headers to me.
looks like traditional 4-1 style.. |
SoCal, are you any relation to Martha Stewart by any chance?
|
I agree with Wolf1, they sure look like 4-1 to me.
|
They are 4 into 1.

They are not Bursch according to seller and I do feel he is on the up and up.... Does Bursch have elongated manifold holes on the forward most flange?
They are supposed to be a mid 80's Anti Reversary designed for early 924's. It will not fit early models only 944na's The test pipe is 1 piece and no where near the Bursch cat bypass. PS....the header and test pipe are new- not installed ever. Does Bursch stamp the name on their products? I would like to go with the consensus here but still question them! Thanks SoCal for the posting and to the rest for the replies! Keep em' coming........TIA! Sman |
"Cyclone Headers had the license to build the Jim Feuling patented Anti Reversion headers"...so is this the one?
a little Jim Feuling history, if it is his header: http://www.speedace.info/feuling_streamliner.htm http://www.landracing.com/news/feuling.htm |
Anti-reversion headers had a cone built into the port opening of the primary tubes.
Supposedly to eliminate exhaust pulse reverb from re-entering the port. But, then they decided that reverb was a good thing with properly sized and length of tubes. |
do I see cone shapes as the tubes go into the collector?
|
The cones are at the tube ends where it bolts to the head.
