Does anyone have any advice (words of wisdon) on replacing a watter pump on my '83\944. I'm looking to do it myself, is this a difficult thing? (I will have to replace the timing belt)..... sao thats another factor that makes me a lil nervous.
Thanks! Adam |

I did it a few weeks back, wasn't so bad. Check out clarks-garage.com for a good how to section under "garage manual."
What part of boston are you in? there are a few other bostonians around here....I live in Lexington and work in Cambridge.

Thank you Tshabet..!! I read through the instructions. I guess if you can replace this pump, man.. you can do just about anything to your car! Is it really as bad as this sounds? I mean.. I'm good up until the point where they tell you to start taking off sprokets and pullys then its all downhill from there.
I would say from easy to hard.. this is an 8 out of 10. thoughts? I used to live just outside of Quincy when I joined this group. Since then I've moved to the Gardner area and work in Maynard. |
