Needed info
Have a 90 944 S2 with stock design 90 wheels and tires am thinking about buying a 88 924s as a DE car. Question will the S2 wheels fit on the 924 s. If not the car I am looking at has r compound tires on it currently and I will need to drive this about 600 miles to get it home and will want to drive it to DE events. Does anybody near Columbus Ohio have an old set (any shape as long as they can driven) and some street tires that will fit a 924S they want to part with?
Thanks in advance |

I have D90s on my 931, the fit fine after flattening the inner lip on the rear fender.

D90s can fit. Some "massaging" might be needed, depending on ride height and tire sizes used.
I would think it would be a tight fit on a 24S if you ran 225/245 tires.. However, running 205/225 should be easier. R comps don't simply combust because they are driving 600 highway miles. Now, they may be bald, and may not like cooler temps, but no one said you had to drive 85mph in 30degree weather, did they?
