Glass roof?

Hi All Ive been searching for something, but cant find anything on it.

When I was shopping for my 944, i looked at one that had a Glass roof and a solid roof (he was inlcuding both) And it was a factory hole in the roof, i knew that much.

It was before i knew much about the p-cars, so i didnt ask if it was factory option or not.

But It did look identical to the solid one. Except it was tinted glass.

Anyone ever seen one? Know where I can get one? It was awsome!!!

A so called "saratoga top." I believe the company that made them went out of business, I've seen one or two on ebay but they ended up going for a few hundred dollars. A cool accessory, IMHO.

I found one on ebay, but its $500.

Nice, but not that nice. Ill just leave it out all summer, since the car is garaged anyway and I dont drive it in the rain.

Mabey, But I only drive it 50 miles a week or so. And I clean it weekly. Inside and out.

The Saratoga company is still in business, making corvette, 300zx, and other tops for various makes but they no longer produce the top for 944's. Several years ago I tried to get one from them and was told that they took all the remaining stock they had and just threw them in the dumpster since they no longer produced them and the demand at the time was almost nil. The toys for your toys top is priced pretty steep also. From what I understand they have yet to deliver one to any of the customers who have purchased it. I think they are still having production problems. Why would they try to sell something they don't have is beyond me.

knew you would ask. no I don't, I'll have to work on getting one taken and downloaded. The car looks good with it in but I would rather have the $ to fix the roof and other things.

not sure with the scatch (4"?). I'll have to get a pic and take offers. Comes with the bag too.
