Good shops in Massachusetts?

Any one have any recommendations for a repair shop in Massachusetts? I want to get my timing belt inspected and don't want to be told to replace it because I am getting it checked and can't validate its replacement.

Thanks in advance.

I'm too trying to find a shop around Lexington, MA. What area are you in?

The car's previous owner has used the dealer in Burlington but the numbers they charged on the invoices are pretty high.

I work in Waltham and live in Uxbridge (almost RI), so I could go about anywhere in between.

My "previous" owner was in W. Virginia, so that is out....

There's always "Click-and-Clack's" Good News Garage in Cambridge. I don't know how much they know about Porsche, but my brother has taken his Acura Integra in there numerous times and ALWAYS gotten a straight story and fair price. Acuras aren't particularly easy to work on either.

Very good shop in Greenfield, MA. I don't recall the name, but they are attached to www.gicp.com

Only time a mechanic ever invited me into the shop to point out the problems and actually discuss them me (years before I had space to do my own work). The gicp parts people are very knowledgeable too.

I would avoid Randolph Racing. It's a long story but I bought a car from a guy that was serviced by Randolph Racing. I had it picked up at his shop.He was a complete a**hole to me,the shipper, broker, truck driver....everyone.I can only assume that he treats everyone that way.
