Real sports cars don't have cup holders....

Be a man, put it between ur legs or get a bottle so u can put the lid back on and throw it in the bak seat.

i agree with the no cup holder idea...if you drive a porsche the any liquids should be in a SEALED container!

Kinda like it.

I have been looking for something to hold my morning keg o iced T.

No power steering on the earlies really makes it difficult to drink anything at times, cap or no cap.

The PO of my car had a couple of those screwed to the inside of each door of The Precious. They were the first thing to go. Rattled like hell when the stereo was playing. I'll be dam*ed if I'm drinking a cup of joe in The Precious on the way to work anyway -- too much g-force!

I'll GIVE you the cupholders if you send me $3.70 shipping!

On my 911, the passenger window came off track, apparently due to my girlfriend's use of one of those cupholders on that side (that's what my mechanic claims). Thought I'd mention it.

I just have one of the little plastic things that jams between the pax seat and the center console - no screws. It works pretty well but I'd never put an open cup in it - water bottle with the cap off for brief periods is okay - ditto on paper cups with lids as long as I'm not too aggressive in turning and take it smooth. Not a bad deal for $10 or $15. I don't think it was more than that and I can remove it and chuck it in the glove box in less than 3 seconds flat.

What are you all talking about? Our cars already have cupholders, they are on the back of the glove box lid . It always cracks me up when i look at those dorky indentations on the back of the glovebox door. Must be a message from the company that eating and drinking are not condoned when driving.

I never eat/drink in my car, and when I go through the drive-through and get a drink it usually fits snugly between the driver's seat and the door.

I saw a show on Discovery about the Autbahn and Porsche, and they stated that Porsches don't have cup holders so people spend more time driving, and less time eating and drinking behind the wheel at high speeds.

Makes sense. The Boxster and 996 from '02 onwards have cupholders though.

Don't know about the US manual, but mine states quite clearly that you should not eat or drink whilst driving your porsche.

Cars without cup holders are a rarity these days, I personally like the fact that when people get in my car with a coffee I kick them out into the rain until they have finished it.

I just installed the cupholder replacement for the padded tray. It looks very pro, and works to get the cup out of the way for shifting. Bought it from Ian.

My Gatorade bottle holder is on top of the E brake handle jammed between the seat and the frame of the car. It doesn't move no matter how hard I am going through a corner or jamming on the brakes. I have never spilt a drop.

My cup holder is located between the two front seats. Simply take the drink and push it between the seats. Curve proof!!!
