Where to get interior
I have an 88 951 with the stock burgundy interior. I want to change the entire interior to black. Where can I buy cloth seat inserts, carpeting and most of all, a dash with no cracks. Thanks

What burgundy interior? The real turbo s interior?
If so, I will trade you straight up  I have a good black everything... (and I'm close...)

Yep, Silver Rose paint and burgundy (plaid) interior. The plaid is really ugly, or shall I say dated.

The old school look is key, man!
I was looking at 928 that had green and beige plad, with thin yellow stripes.. it was amazing. |

I hate the "classy" colors. Give me a faded guards red 9XX with black fuchs and battle-scarred interior any day...

Save your plaid interior, put it in storage
Many turbo S owners swap it for pure burgandy do NOT get rid of the plaid permanantly AFJuvat

Most German car interiors are hideous, or, shall we say an aquired taste! Since I changed to the Cab with black leather, everyone who gets in my car says 'hey! what happened to that cool pinstripe interior?'. I hated it at the time (very 1980s), but now I miss it!
Keep the plaid! - it's special and you'll miss it too...

I've heard nothing but good things about Original Fit Interiors out of Seattle, I think. 541 459 1700. I'm waiting on a sample card from them, but the price is right ($225 for domestic for the whole interior).
