My cousin made it. He got some things wrong, but he did alright with it. Most of it is the list of things it's destroyed; it was 3 fuel rails (not two), and the head was only rebuilt cuz it needed guides.

That's my jet ski. Again, he got stuff on it wrong. The ski will never recieve a pipe or a raise in the rev limiter (the 720 likes to blow when modded any more than it is). The carbs are off of a sea doo 780 engine (I think they're identical, but not 100%, I paid $20 for them BRAND NEW from a guy that races here). There's a new prop for it in the garage (a skat track) and I'm probably going to buy a new water intake grat yet this summer, along with some sponsons (make it handle better too). The cylinders have no porting done (it isn't worth much on a jet ski). BUT he was right, it is stupidly fast I raced a buddy with a Yamaha GP800R (makes ~130 hp IIRC) and I walked him pretty hard (he wasn't too happy, especially considering mine is supposed to have ~85 )

How in the HELL did you do that to the cam tower?

not sure how I did that to the cam tower, it happened about 50 miles after I put my rebuilt, ported and polished head on. My guess is something got in it at the shop, don't know how it happened though considering the cam tower was in a big plastic bag.

Nice jet ski. We had a set of twin 1996 XP's that we sold off a couple years ago. Those things were scary-fast. Until just last year, they were still the fastest on the lake even racing against '02 and '04's.

I've decided that if I ever buy another one that it's going to be a 96. That 780 is a MUCH better engine to start off with.
