I just got it yesterday and already I'm sitting here at 5:30 AM waiting for the sun to break just so I can get to work on the signal/horn problem.. going to be tired all day but it's worth it.

just got my horn working this weekend. seems the horn itself and the wiring to the relay was bad. a new horn and wire did the trick. after 3 weeks (since purchase) without horn, i've been doing an excessive amount of beeping the past few days

You'll blow whole weekends at a time fiddling, wrenching, tinkering, and cleaning these cars. I came to work this morning looking like I just got out of a nasty street brawl (nicks/cuts all over my hands and oil stains that just didn't come off yet) which was less-than-professional here in the office. Yet it feels gratifying somehow.

You'll know what I'm talking about soon enough.

You remind me of that guy in the movie Figth Club. He goes to his office job in the morning all beat up. He has cuts all over his face and hands and a swollen face. It felt gratifying to him also.

I've had a few times where I don't sleep on fri, sat, or sunday cuz of how desperate I am to get the car back on the road. Guess what, your boss won't be very happy when u go to work on Monday after getting 102 hours of sleep over the weekend :P

That's it! I forgot all about that scene. I didn't have his f'ed up face, but the hands really weren't that far off (I did my oil cooler seals this weekend). I love this stuff.......

I go to work looking like that often enough...then I go back towork on the car and get worse. I've heard "damn duncan, you look like hell" so many times. It feels good every time.

On a not-so-related note...Several years ago, really about a year before Fight Club even come out, me and a group of friends/acquaintances used to get together and do just that...beat the hell out of one another. Had to stop, though, because as more and more new people joined up we got several that would severely thrash who they were fighting. The first time we had to call an ambulance, I and the other founders (so to speak) called it off. Then Fight Club came out...
