So I'm driving along and I decide to throw it in low gear and gun it...
...and my cat blew off. Not kidding.

My cat sounds so bad these days that I always think that I am going to do just that!
Hope it doesn't happen anytime too soon.

TRevor...I relayed the request to Mike. I haven't spoken to him in a little while, though...
Yeah...cat just blew the welds on the header side and dropped. Bolts were rusted near off, and broke when the weld blew. I just finnished semi-welding in a mid pipe. Only thing I had for a jack, though, was the spare scissor jack...lol...so I couldn't make much progress. Got the flange side welded in great, but Porsche's decision to not use a flange on the header side of the cat disgusts me.

yeah...what do you think the interest would be here in a race pipe? I'd love to take it on as a project for Shattered Glass.
{pics of current batch order that's taking way to long to get done...lol}

yeah..all off-road only goods. Straight pipe exhausts, unless something special is requested.
oh...and no website...I'm a web-newb when it comes to that. My brother is supposed to help me set something up later this summer.

Hmmmm. You know, I need to drop my exhaust soon to do some work on the headers and stuff. . . I don't like messing with rusty exhaust bolts. . . Hmmmmm.

Holy ****...$600! Only problem I'd have is that I don't have a 951. Find me a 951 to come to me or one I can get to reletively easily and I can duplicate it. The Flowmaster is a poor (read: ridiculously bad) choice for a muffler on a turbo. The more I look at that link the more I think about how poor it is for the price. It looks like it's painted steel, which would mean that it's not stainless. Unflanged and gasket'ed connections deteriorate and warp easily. The wastegate pipe inlet is VERY abrupt and will cause a lot of turbulance. Again, that hideouse flowmaster. It's going to cost over $600 to have that in your hand, plus you'll have to buy another muffler (but they suggest a flowmaster... ![]() (depending on how the project worked)
