two sightings today (DC)
Had to go into the city today to a job site (the new American Indian museum) saw two '44s, one early red one, all fuched up and looking good, parked on 3rd st. SW near C St. also passed a gold '44 with phone dials on Kenilworth Ave in Riverdale, MD on my way back to the shop.
man am I glad I have a new radiator! DC traffic suxors. nate PS - the GC decided a dumpster needed to go where I'd originally parked my car, so of course they paged over the fire alarm system "would the owner of the black Porsche please move your car" and all the electricians started saying **** about how I must make too much money.... :/ (yeah, like I even come close)

Glad to hear that there are Porsches on the East Coast! I will be moving to VA in November!

Whereabouts were you working in the Museum? I was working in the auditorium on monday hanging stage curtains. Small world, huh?

When I left DC they had some of the worst streets around....Almost killed my 300z.
Do they still use 8'x4' steel plates bolted to the road to cover up potholes?

ernestedward, I was working on the fire alarm system, so I got to wander all around. I did go through the stage at one point as Clark is apparently using one of their dressing rooms as a field office. I felt so pretty when I had to go in there to get some voice message files from our office
one of these days we are going to have to have a GTG so I can meet some of the other locals and you can all laugh at my POS car ![]() tcmdocs, you think DC is bad, try Pittsburgh sometime nate

DC Roads are notoriously bad and extremely hard on our chosen rides. I try not to drive into the city with any of mine but when I do I am forced to drive like a Florida Blue Hair. I have been saying for some time that we need a Mid-Atlantic get together pick the Parking lot/Bar, preferably not in DC. And lets do it!

I'm down for it whenever. I just out I have to pull my dash to fix my heater blower motor...Gonna do this myself rather than pay the $900 for the shop to do it - plus I can fix my dash cracks while I'm at it. I'm not suggesting we should have a dash-pull gtg, but a t-belt party would be fine...in another 25,000 miles...

I get the idea that I will be regreting the koni yellows and stiffer springs and bars, if what you guys say is true. Not to mention that I hear Bridgestone's S03 tires make great skis in the snow.
