Removing header panel
HEy I start to take apart some stuff on my 87 924S (project red blaze) I was in the prosses of removing the header panel but I cant get the stupid thing off, It looks like I need to take the bumper off to do this also. I have removed most of the screws but there are to big sheet metal screws on the side of the header panel where the head lights are, ANyone have any tips on how to remove this peace??

With the headlights open, remove the rubber insulator/seal at the bottom. You should be able to get the bolts out with a long 1/4" drive extension & swivel & socket...

Speaking of 924's.........I just spotted one sitting out in a field with an aftermarket rear spoiler and a vented nose.
Nobody was home to ask about it, guess I'll have to go back and try later... ![]()

Nope not a 931. 1. No vented hood. 2. The front header panel has two long vents instead of the 4 short ones. 3. Early 924 mud flaps.
