You know............

That actually looks pretty good.......

I remember seeing that years back and being turned off with it.

But that looks pretty good.

I think it was made by that french company Jacquomond ?????? or something wacky like that.

Moneyguy1 10-01-2004 10:47 AM

I like it.

Overcomes one of the few design flaws of the original.

nynor 10-02-2004 09:18 AM

oh man, that is HORRIBLE... maybe without the wing. will someone pass me the rice?

ernestedward 10-02-2004 05:18 PM

Yeah, i would have sworn it was jacquesmond.com. I came across these a few months ago. He has some REALLY cool stuff for 944s, but it's pretty damn expensive, as you'd expect. Wish i could find the site.

Booyah 944 10-02-2004 05:29 PM

http://www.jacquemond.com/

the wing is a seperate and optional peice

Clowd 10-02-2004 09:55 PM

It looks too... out of place.

Makenzie71 10-04-2004 04:32 PM

I could make that...

What flaw does it overcome? I don't think I would like the loss of visibillity.

Clowd 10-04-2004 07:10 PM

I agree, you can't see **** out of that thing.

Wolf1 10-04-2004 07:27 PM

Or, you could try one of these...

The red one has a little bit of ferrari style in it, I like it.. but I still wouldn't be able to see anything out of that little window.

I wonder how much less weight that fiberglass piece is then our heavy glass unit?

friendlyguy64 10-05-2004 05:40 AM

what website di dyou get that off of?I went to jacquands he wanted basically 2600 iclund shipping. That s a lot.

TCMdocs944 10-05-2004 07:46 AM

The first pic is really kind of nice. A bit much wingery but nice.....

.....not $3000 nice.

Makenzie71 10-05-2004 03:21 PM

Much like I said with the wide body fenders...if someone had money, cash in hand, ready to purchase (pending I can whip up something appealing) I'd be glad to take something like this on.

I estimate that the framing and polyester body of a piece like those above (if I made them) would weigh roughly 25lbs. What's the stock glass hatch weigh?

friendlyguy64 10-06-2004 05:37 AM

what website did you go to?

schnellfahrer 10-06-2004 08:42 AM

This is what a fellow PCN member did. I don't like it, but the owner does, and that is what matters.

will someone please pass the soy sauce...

skipgresham944 10-07-2004 02:10 PM

I wouldn't call it rice, but it does look out of place - definitely an aftermarket and tacked-on appearance.
