header and intake m question
will the intake manifold and the headers from a 951 fit a 87 924S

The headers might, but the intake won't.

why wont the intake directly bolt on?teh yseem that have the same pattern

The intake will bolt up to the head, but the vacuum fittings are different, the dipstick mount is different, the throttle body mounting flange is in a different location so adjusting the throttle cable will be a real PITA, the throttle cable brackets are different and are mounted differently.
It won't work.
