I Need Help Taking Off The Nose Panel
Ive only tried for 30 min to see if my nose panel well come off so far I havent been able to, maybe tom I will be able to get it.Anyone might know if its possible taking it off.For an 87 PORSCHE 924S.
HAHAH thats funny, just last week I tried the same thing, I couldnt get it off, There is like 4 bolts on the top of the header then there is some under the rubber seal in the headlight housings, then off on each coner kinda in the fender there are 2 more bolts, Thos 2 bolts are a PITA and I just gave up
your right that is funny.I didnt think you could take them off bc i thought they were made with the car?meaning that piece couldnt come up.I want a 924 turbo nose panel
The peace does come off it just sucks doing it, That is also the reason why I was taking mine off, But I will also be doing a body kit, When I get the body kit then I will worry about it
what body kit are you getting?I saw on a website they had a 924S with the front spoiler that you can get out ofperformance products, but they also had teh side skirts rear valance, and a 968 wing.It was bad A$$, but I couldnt get it bc it was in germany and it would cost to much.
Im gonna do a GT conversion with a 968 wing and mirrors, I also want to do a custom NASA hood scoop.
A 1/4" ratchet with a universal is the easiest way to get at those small bolts that attach the panel to the fenders.
Yep 1/4" drive shallow socket, swivel and extension is the way to get at those bolts.
Friendlyguy64 and Fast924S is this the look your after? http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1096936236.jpg |

Nope, actually those are notes to our "clean-up" boy. He is a typical 16yr old kid, likes to touch, rub, and lean on shiny things. Threatening him with bodily injury helps, but does not guarantee its safety!!! |
