It is an electric fan\blower
It MAY give you a little more HP, but certainly not anywhere near what they are claiming. AFJuvat

It's a boat bilge exhaust blower. If you really want one you can by it in any Wal-Mart for about $30.00

oh, no! Not the e-Ram again!
A while back on the 911 board, a guy that makes these things started spouting off what a great thing it was. Some engineers mathamatically proved it couln't do what was claimed. There were even dyno runs that proved it did nothing, and the guy selling them really made a fool of himself trying to back it up, complaining about the problems with the dyno (while he was there to insure there were no problems. Blamed the poor dyno showing on both of the cars they tested it on). He eventually accused the 911 guys of being Nazis, and left. Porsche (and GM. Ford, BMW et al) have some pretty smart engineers. If this worked, every car for sale today would be so equipped from the factory. |

E-ram man has been around for YEARS!, I remember him flogging that crap more than 5 years ago on a BMW mailing list. It eventually cuminated into a web page of a E30 M3 with a leaf blower grafted onto the hood (photoshop of course)
Whats sad is that if he has been doing it for years it obvious that he is selling some. |

Not only is the product a waste of money... check closely the feedback for this seller... His ebay userid is three weeks old and he has a bunch of positive feedback from a bunch of similar losers who cannot spell... I smell fraud!
