Wow, look at the other cars in the shop, nice!

I don't know, it's not my style, but it looks well done. better than some half-assed rice kit. I don't think it costed him that much though... Since they did it themselves, i don't think it costed anything over $1k. Welding up the tail lights, fiberglassing the nose, shaved handles... not too difficult.

With all the time he spent on the body work, you would think that he would have cleaned up the motor a little bit. My motor looks better with 165K miles on it. To each their own I suppose

IMHO: tons of work, you have to respect that, but, the headlights are too small, the taillights are too small, and the car just looks like an abandoned 70's concept car.

I don't know if this makes any sense, but there's too much body! =) I like how tails, headlights, etc, break up the body lines.

I think what they did with the rear hatch looks cool, but it had to have turned the 944's excellent rear visibility to crap.

Love the skill and creativity.

Don't like the color....everyone has an opinion.

I like my conceiled headlamps. I think they are coming back in style.

The Cris- I agree The is way to much body it needs something to break it up.

As for the engine what I understand is that he will be dropping a modded 968 motor in with direct port nitrous

That's the only headlight conversion I've ever seen that I like.

In that shot, there is a yellow 'spray can looking thing'. It is in many of the different shots from painting to cleaning.

Wonder what is in there? Is that what makes the cookies so good?

yellow spray can is just a refillable spray can, it can be filled with just about any fluid and charged with a compressor, very common in large shops

Again, a Dutch project on this site. It's really getting dutchy in here, innit? Well, and again i have to say... what the HELL are they thinking off? I mean, it's well made, but it's just so ugly and out of proportion... please leave the car building to our neighbours over in Germany and let's just keep making cheese over here or something.

1. WHy did he not think of different mirrors; like tose in a Passat come to mind and fill the holes where the mirrors were mounted?

2. Why stick with the anemic motor? Really, spending that much time and money, something creative could have been done under the hood.

3. Impressive amount of work!!

Hey Gordie..What was wrong with the Corvair (type 2) styling? Just kidding..but it was the forerunner of the Camaro and the Firebird. I think the taillights look like a 60s era Impala
